Yes title insurance protects the owner of the policy from any creditors that are not already identified through a title search with a particular company. Some banks require it and some don't.
References :
title insurance.?
i've been working for a company for a year now and haven't came away with any knowledge of what i'm doing. they just sorta point the directions to go and i go. i'm more of a file manager, keeping files in order and delivering them.

i'm looking to move up someday any info. you can give me so i could sorta learn the ropes before i attempt to ask my boss for a raise?

i get the basics that the insurance is for you to be secure from others that might have interest to your title or that might complicate ownership to the title itself.
