    A public option …
A public option would not change anything Alan. The very reason these corporations are so big and irresponsible is because of government granted monopoly. Take away the government umbrella and we would see them cut each others throats to provide better services and lower costs. It will be like collage education. Because of government grants and student loans paying out whatever the collages will charge the prices are then set for everyone else. Then there’s housing…Same thing.
    Thanks MOX news

My wife and I had insurance, both worked at hospitals, and yet I still had $30K in bills and filed bankruptcy after all the treatments insurance rejected. Something must change and only one party appears to be trying to do something. I am DEMOCRAT ! (former republican)

    No, friend from the …
No, friend from the north. He’s a congressman. His words do represent the concerns of his constituents and even those who aren’t.

You gotta really decipher it in your own way and just keep in mind not all things are what they seem.

As a Canadian, it doesn’t affect me but you folks in the U.S. have a real gem in Grayson who seems to be among the few politicians who truly represent their constituents’ concerns.

    I don’t trust 99% …
I don’t trust 99% of the Senators and most of the congressmen because of lobbyists. I believe that if we tackled campaign finance reform and the ability of people in public service being able to join companies they had direct influence over, you would see more congressmen like Grayson and Ron Paul.

    I actually like …
I actually like this proposal. Sounds to me like a great alternative for people that cannot get insured. Its simple yet effective. I would like to see the current Obama Healthcare bill to be broken up into smaller bills like this one. Having large bills makes it too easy to hide unnecessary and potentially harmful subsections that work against the actual intent of bills.
